Maryland State Arts Council staff members are coming to Kent County to answer questions about grants and other resources for artists, arts and culture administrators, and anyone whose work involves the arts sector!


Join them at the Kent Cultural Alliance, 101 Spring Ave., in Chestertown, on Friday, May 3, from 1 to 6 p.m. Staff will be available for individual meetings throughout the posted hours. Bring any question, general or specific, including technical inquiries about MSAC's online grants platform, SmartSimple. Register to receive details prior to the event. Walk-ins are also welcome! This event will be taking place in conjunction with the opening of Kent Cultural Alliance's LAND exhibit, detailed at this link.


Staff expected to attend office hours in Kent County include Chad Buterbaugh, Cathy Teixeira, Lizzie Morales, and Ryan Patterson, as well as Robert Forloney, who will be on hand to answer questions about funding and other resources at Maryland Humanities, the statewide organization inspiring learning and promoting dialogue about the Maryland's heritage and culture.
