<P>All BMCC faculty are cordially invited to attend a reception celebrating the success of BMCC’s <A HREF="http://oer.bmcc.cuny.edu" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Educational Resources</A> (OER) initiative and our faculty OER/ZTC heroes. Faculty who have redesigned courses with OER and other no-cost materials are saving students an estimated $2.5 million annually. More importantly, OER courses are an important pillar in our commitment to equity and knowledge as a public good. The foundation of the OER initiative focuses on transformational pedagogy and liberatory practices.</P>
