Course Overview
Note: This training is an Oregon Prepared Conference Pre-Conference Training; the intended audience is conference attendees and is only open to those from EMPG-eligible jurisdictions.
This hands-on training provides information about the new OEM Grants online portal for the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) module. This session will walk participants through the system’s core features, including cover application, project tracking, quarterly reports, reimbursement requests, document uploads, and reporting tools. Attendees will receive practical training, tips for navigating the interface, and guidance on transitioning from legacy systems. Whether you're a seasoned grant manager or new to the process, this session will equip you to confidently manage your FEMA grant using OEM Grants. Please bring a laptop to log into the sandbox mode of the system.
Target Audience
Emergency management professionals, grant managers, and others who are responsible for applying for, managing, or reporting on FEMA Emergency Management Performance Grants (EMPG).
