OCD-EMDR Webinar
Join us for a deep dive into integrative EMDR treatment for OCD offering clinicians practical strategies and clear treatment pathways
Join Our OCD-EMDR Webinar!
A deep dive into understanding OCD, what the research says, limitations to current treatment models, and how to approach OCD using integrative attachment based EMDR. This webinar examines how OCD develops and persists, conceptualising symptoms as adaptive protection strategies rooted in earlier learning and attachment experiences.
The webinar shares practical applications, demonstrations, templates of case conceptualisation and a step by step attachment-informed EMDR framework to follow. There will be a review of existing evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, ACT, I-CBT and ego states/parts work, and how to integrate these with EMDR to offer a bottom-up and top-down approach that enhances adaptive information processing, often resulting in compulsions reducing naturally as formative experiences are processed to adaptive resolution. Here is some feedback from our previous webinar:
‘EMDR for OCD offers insightful, practical guidance in a supportive environment. It's a valuable space to deepen clinical understanding, explore complex cases, and gain confidence in applying EMDR with OCD. I like the fact you had three experts to share ideas and experience which gave me a full rounded view. I'd highly recommend it to any practitioner looking to strengthen their skills in this area’
Shiraz Farrand, EMDR Consultant, Trauma Aid UK
