Why Attend

Join us for an open house event at Javelin's head office in Oakville, ON as our 3D Printing and SOLIDWORKS experts present the latest technologies and applications for 3D Printing and SOLIDWORKS software.

This open house event will contain two sessions - 3D Printing 101 in the morning and 3D Printing 201 in the afternoon. Feel free to join us for one or both! Lunch and beverages will be provided.

In our afternoon session, Warren Ali (Director, Emerging Technologies Initiatives with the APMA) will present details of the Automotive Supplier Competitiveness Improvement Program (ASCIP) which can fund up to 50% of the investment in Additive Manufacturing for qualifying automotive companies.

John BrownJohn Brown - Director, Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing 

John Brown is a Director of Additive Manufacturing at Javelin. Since 1998, through a series of progressive positions, John has enabled thousands of customers to improve efficiency and productivity, and jumpstart their business growth. At Javelin, where the aim is to inspire increasing numbers of organizations with the right 3D solutions, John has been integral in driving new business development.

 

David HayesDavid Hayes - Application Engineer - 3D Printing

David Hayes is a 3D Printing Application Expert for Javelin, known across Canada as a trusted partner in 3D technology. David uses his technical expertise to help service Javelin's install base while driving 3D printing sales through sound and concise technical advice. David specializes in the medical, architectural and automotive verticals. David graduated from Queen's University in Kingston, On with a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering in 2014, while competing for Team Canada in the ISAF Sailing World Cup in windsurfing.

Scott Lidgey has 15 years’ experience inspiring 3D technology in countless design industries to solve their design and process challenges, enabling them to flourish. Initially working with the Autodesk® product offering; Scott was introduced to the SolidWorks® line of products in 1998 and has never looked back.

 

Adam StegemanAdam Stegeman - Senior Application Engineer, Stratasys

Adam Stegeman is a Senior Application Engineer with Stratasys and has held various other technical roles since 2006.  He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering before entering the manufacturing scene as an application engineer designing and developing high reliability custom cables. During this time he was instrumental in launching the first product in a new manufacturing complex abroad. He has developed cables used by many of the top companies in the medical, military, aerospace, and defense industries.  It was here he was first exposed to the world of additive manufacturing used for rapid prototyping. At Stratasys his primary role has been to enable the sales channel by providing technical applications support during the pre-sale process. Adam has worked with a numerous companies developing and implementing additive manufacturing solutions.
