NYU Langone Health, Certified Usui Reiki Trainings

NYU Langone Health proudly presents our certified Usui Reiki Trainings. We have been training our staff since October of 2021 and are now opening our trainings to the communities we serve to further enhance the ripple of this healing practice.

Our training levels:

Level I:

Introduction to the practice of Reiki as a relaxation tool for self-care and integration into clinical practice as a low risk intervention. Learn how to use this technique as a strong self-care tool and to increase patient/caregiver comfort. Reiki is a highly effective wellness practice for whole person physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Level II: (*pre-requisite Level 1 certification validation will be required upon registration)

Introduction to Usui Reiki Symbols. Reflections on the use of Reiki in medical systems. Learning the use of Reiki within a private professional practice as well as integration into formal healthcare environments and institutions. Learning to share distant healing, increasing capacity to harness Reiki energy and sharing Reiki for mental/emotional needs. Learning how to start Reiki shares and use on family, colleagues and patients.

All FULL DAY In-Person Trainings Include:

• NYU Langone Health Reiki Manual (Level I or II)

• Lecture, Attunement, Experiential, and Hands- On Practice

• Healthy Lunch

• Reiki Certificate

• 6.5 Nursing or Social Work CEU contact hours

ALL HYBRID ( ½ Virtual ½ Onsite) Trainings Include

Virtual Component

• 3- hour virtual training course with chapter quizzes

In-person Component

• 3.5 hours on-site
• NYU Langone Health Reiki Manual (Level I or II)

• Attunement, Experiential, and Hands- On Practice

• Reiki Certificate

• 6.5 Nursing or Social Work CEU contact hours

*Students must complete the 3-hour virtual training at least 4 days before attending this portion of the course

LEVEL 1

HYBRID CAREGIVER REIKI LEVEL 1 TRAINING (½ virtual & ½ onsite)

This training is especially designed for those who are actively providing daily care and support to a loved one. This training will focus on Reiki self-care and energy medicine practices that promote the wellbeing of the caregiver to keep their body, mind and spirit whole and intact while caring for someone they love. Note there are NO CEU's affliated with this course.

How to Receive CEU Credit: There are only 20 seats per training available. Attend all parts of the educational activity; complete pre/post surveys, pass online chapter quizzes ( if applicable), participate in group practice; and return demonstration of Reiki techniques.

NYU Langone Health attendees may be able to use nursing/social work conference funding- if available. PLEASE NOTE: All Ticket sales are final. We do not have capacity to refund.
