Description

Make no mistake: it’s exceedingly difficult to talk about race. Issues of race are exploding all over the country, while we still live and operate in fairly segregated communities—even where we shop, where we worship, who we hang out with. The workplace is often the one place we have come together, whatever our race, and try to achieve shared goals. Yet in the workplace we often don’t talk about race for fear of offending or causing tension.

In this webinar, we will explore how we see and talk about race from the perspective of Cultural Competence. Five stages of development describe our approach to difference. Learn the developmental stages, how they relate to our conversations about race and what you can do to develop your own competence.
