NYC WOH - Workshop - New York Distilling Company Tour

In partnership with Southern Glazer's, NYC WOH is excited to host its second Workshop of 2024 - Distillery Tour with Hannah Toale, Production Manager at New York Distilling Company.

Hannah started working with New York Distilling Company in 2015 as a barback for the Shanty. Soon after, she began working in production and is now Distiller and Production Manager. Hannah has worked at Friends of the High Line, Different Roads to Learning, and Partner's Coffee. She studied Physics at Smith College and was born and raised in New York City.

The earliest distilleries in Brooklyn date back to the 1700’s. During Prohibition there were over 50,000 illicit stills in New York City. Since Prohibition however, the ethereal perfumes of distillation have been largely absent…until now. The New York Distilling Company builds on this dream by establishing one of the nation’s premiere craft distilleries.
