NYC Open Data Team Summer Updates 

Civic Hallis the nation's leading center for learning and collaboration focused on advancing technology and problem solving for the public good. Our mission is to embed civic values where technology and society meet, and help people discover powerful new ways to embody those values in their work and life. At Civic Hall, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, government staff, community organizers, philanthropists, software developers, data scientists and media makers come together to share knowledge and solve pressing public interest problems.Founded in February 2015, Civic Hall has rapidly grown into a thriving and diverse community with over 1,000 members and 100 member organizations. In 2021, we will move into an 80,000 SF community facility at 120 E 14th St, to be called Civic Hall @ Union Square. Civic Hall @ Union Square will be a new, diverse and inclusive 21st century community center focused on technology, civic engagement and a more equitable future for all.Civic Hallis awheelchair-accessiblevenue, and we're happy to welcome people with disabilities at our on-site events. ABOUT NYC OPEN DATA TEAM
The <A HREF="http://www1.nyc.gov/site/analytics/index.page" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mayor’s Office of Data Analytics (MODA)</A> and the <A HREF="http://www1.nyc.gov/site/doitt/index.page" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications (DoITT)</A> partner to form the Open Data team. As a hub of analytics in the City, MODA advocates for the use of Open Data in citywide data analytics and in the community. DoITT manages the technical operations with City agencies and our vendor partner Socrata, ensuring that technological capabilities are always evolving to better meet user needs. Agencies are the data owners and have Open Data Coordinators who serve as the primary point of contact with the Open Data team.
 
Arrival note: Civic Hall is located at 118 West 22nd Street, 12th Floor. When you arrive, please buzz 12A to enter the building.
