That's when he comes across something on his mom's work computer: a top secret new app called MonoFriend. Soon, he's chatting with "Matt", an A.I. best friend. Matt is funny, he's smart, and he knows Zed better than anyone else, even Rishti. He also loves spending time with Zed -- but, as Zed is about to discover, he maybe loves it too much.
This a wonderful read that tackles so many important questions about friendship and loneliness in the age of A.I. It's hilariously terrifying, terrifyingly hilarious, and totally heartfelt.
