NYC Comptroller’s  Fellowship Program Information Session

The New York City Comptroller, an independently elected official, is the Chief Financial Officer of the City of New York. The mission of the office is to ensure the financial health of New York City. The Comptroller also makes recommendations on City programs and operations, fiscal policies, and financial transactions. In addition, the Comptroller manages assets of the five New York City Pension Funds, performs budgetary analysis, audits city agencies, and registers proposed contracts.

<h1>New York City Comptroller’s Fellowship Program Information Session</h1><p>In collaboration with CUNY, the Office of New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer is offering a fellowship program designed to give recent college graduates hands-on work experience, professional training, and educational programming. This unique fellowship will provide up-close experience in auditing, accounting, policy making, financial management, and more, helping to build the next generation of New York City government professionals. </p><p>Start your post-college career in the Comptroller’s Office. Start here, and then go anywhere!</p><h3>Positions</h3><p>Fellowship opportunities include positions in the following Bureaus of the Comptroller’s Office:</p><p>• Audit</p><p>• Public Policy, Press &amp; Diversity  </p><p>• Asset Management</p><p>• Accountancy</p><p>• Engineering</p><p>• Law and Adjustment &amp; General Counsel’s Office </p><p>• Contract Administration</p><h3>Program Term</h3><p>Fellows will work 4 days a week (28 hours) at a rate of $21/hour. </p><p>Fellowship dates run from June 7, 2021 - November 19, 2021.</p>
