About this event

Parenting is challenging, particularly when you are parenting a child from a hard place. Children from hard places include children who were born prematurely, have been abused and neglected, have been adopted internationally, and have special needs. This training will focus on understanding the meaning of child behaviors, the brain chemistry of a child from a hard place, and how to help these children (and your family) heal and connect. Participants will learn tools they can put into action with their children immediately.

This class will be held online via Zoom on Thursday, February 15th from 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.

To ensure an effective training, the number of participants is limited. One 30-minute lunch break will be included in the time provided. Zoom information will be shared during the week of the training.

About the Trainers: Meghan Vargo and Nicki Peterson have studied under Dr. David Cross and the team at the TCU Institute of Child Development. The training will utilize the TBRI® curriculum developed by the Institute. Meghan Vargo and Nicki Peterson have received advanced training regarding this curriculum and have been qualified as TBRI® Practitioners to present the content.

Please contact us at NVtbrisupport@raisethefuture.org if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you on February 15th!
