Exciting News! Epic Hope is thrilled to collaborate with the OSU Extension Office in presenting the Community Nutrition Education Program (CNEP). This initiative is designed to educate and empower low-income families, aiming to enhance their nutrition and physical activity habits.
The program will include 8 comprehensive lessons, each building upon the preceding one. These lessons are 45-60 minutes long, with evidence-based content complemented by engaging hands-on activities, instructional videos, and exercises.
Target Audience:
- Adults, seniors, and pregnant teens eligible for food assistance or attending food banks.
- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and Early Start participants.
Program Objectives:
- Foster healthy eating habits.
- Encourage physical activity.
- Promote food safety practices.
- Provide strategies for stretching food budgets.
