Nutrient Remediation Workshop

The RaNTrans project team is holding a nutrient remediation workshop and invites policy makers, decision makers, stakeholders, industry leaders and researchers to attend. Join us to discuss questions on nutrient inputs, remediation potential and future funding opportunities to address these issues. This workshop will look at the next steps to address water quality issues in coastal waters in the UK, whilst identifying successful interventions and potential research and industry collaborations in the short to medium term. We will showcase our key results from the project so far, identify and prioritise what key stakeholders want and current research gaps and how to action these with future funding.

The event will be held at Eldon Building, Portsmouth. Join us from 9:30 for coffee and registration, with the workshop starting at 10:00am. Lunch will be provided and there will be 3-4 breakout sessions covering key topics including policy and legislation, funding, barriers, nutrient inputs and future plans.
