Family Friendly/Sensory Safe Nutcracker - Join Clara as she battles the Rat King to save the Nutcracker Prince, then travel through the enchanted Snow Forest and beautiful Kingdom of Sweets. It&#x27;s Pioneer Valley Ballet&#x27;s The Nutcracker, returning for its 41st year to the Academy of Music.From Snow Queen to the tiniest reindeer, this treasured community event features PVB&#x27;s pre-professional students, guest artists, and 250 dancers from towns throughout Western Massachusetts. With its enchanting score by Tchaikovsky, PVB weaves the tale of a girl, a gift, and the magic of Christmas into the perfect holiday treat for the whole family.Now in its third year, this performance has lighting and sound accommodations for reduced sensory experiences. A narrator will assist the audience at the start of the performance. This show will run approximately 1 hour without an intermission. Perfect for the littlest audience members, it’s a great way to introduce young kids to The Nutcracker.
