Nurturing the Nurturer in HUE: A Mothers Day Experience

Nurturing the Nurturer in HUE is a heartfelt Mother’s Day celebration designed to relax, restore, and honor the beauty of all that HUE are.

Rooted in the sacred symbolism of the flower as a mandala of motherhood, this one-of-a-kind experience blends color, breath, and intention through a chakra-inspired floral mandala collage session.

SACRED SOUND MEDITATION

Your journey begins with a restorative sound bath guided by Reginald Adams and Selena Coronado of Selestial Sacred Sounds. This immersive experience uses the vibrations of crystal bowls, chimes, and breathwork to help you ground your energy, quiet the mind, and gently open the heart. As the tones resonate through your body, you'll enter a space of deep stillness and reflection, preparing you to receive the full creative and healing experience of the day. Whether you're new to sound healing or familiar with its effects, this practice will help you arrive fully present—rested, open, and ready to reconnect with the nurturer in you.

EXPRESSIVE ARTS
Led by artists Rhonda Radford Adams and Irene Valentin, this creative session invites you to design a chakra-inspired floral mandala that reflects your personal energy and emotional state. You’ll explore the healing power of color and the symbolic meaning of flowers as tools for balance, mindfulness, and self-expression.

This is a guided, accessible experience where creativity becomes a form of reflection and release. Each guest will receive a workshop recipe card and take home their personal art kit provifing inspiration and materials to continue the journey beyond the event.

NURTURE & NOURISH
Savor a moment of luxury and nostalgia with Zay’s Signature Creations, thoughtfully presented in a picnic-inspired setting that evokes the timeless care and connection we associate with Mother’s Day. Each guest will receive a beautifully curated charcuterie box, refreshing infused water, and a delectable brookie—a sweet blend of brownie and cookie, perfect for indulging the senses.

This culinary offering is more than a meal—it’s a loving pause in the day’s journey. Crafted to nourish your body and elevate your spirit, it complements the healing energy of the sound bath and the creativity of the mandala painting. A true taste of warmth, artistry, and intention.

Healing Art Exhibit
This experience also includes a special healing art exhibit featuring the works of invited artists whose pieces complement the themes of mindfulness, balance, and creative energy. Art itself is a form of healing—whether you're creating it or simply witnessing it. The exhibit offers a visual extension of the workshop, remindingm us that even the act of viewing art can invite stillness, insight, and emotional restoration. Let the colors, textures, and symbolism inspire your own mandala journey.

Frequently asked questions

Why celebrate Mother’s Day like this?

Because this is more than a moment—it’s an experience. A chance to breathe, create, and connect through sound, color, and intention. Celebrate your inner nurturer with something meaningful, memorable, and made just for HUE.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope! Just bring an open heart and a creative spirit! We provide everything you need: your chakra flower mandala canvas, paint, brushes, apron, and a reflection journal to take home.

What’s a sound bath, and why is it part of this experience?

A sound bath is a meditative journey where you're immersed in the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls and chimes. It helps calm the mind, balance the body, and realign your energy—offering deep rest and renewal for the healer and nurturer in HUE.

Do I need anything for the sound bath?

Just wear something comfortable and easy to relax in. Feel free to bring your personal yoga mats, as you’ll have the option to sit or lie down during the sound bath. This is your moment to unwind, so feel free to bring a light shawl or small pillow if you’d like to make it extra comfortable.

What’s the mandala all about, anyway?

The mandala is a symbol of growth, mindfulness, and intention—a visual way to map your thoughts, set goals, or reconnect with who you are.In this workshop, you’ll paint a flower-shaped mandala that mirrors your reflection to create your life’s vision.

What should I wear to the workshop?

Dress comfy—and creatively! We’ll provide aprons, but since we’re working with acrylic paint, it’s best to wear something you don’t mind getting a little messy. Paint has a way of becoming part of the story—so think of it as the beginning of your art wardrobe!

Do I have to be a mother or come with my mother to attend?

Not at all! This experience is open to everyone—regardless of gender, background, or whether you’ve birthed a child. You don’t have to be a mother to be a nurturer. We all carry the capacity to care, uplift, and connect—and this workshop is about celebrating that inner nurturer in HUE!

Can I bring someone with me?

Absolutely. Just be sure to grab a ticket for each participant—this workshop is one seat, one canvas per guest. It makes a beautiful shared experience for mothers, daughters, friends, and partners.

What about teens or kids?

This workshop is designed for ages 14 and up, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. That means both the teen and parent should have a ticket—we promise, you’ll both enjoy it!

Refunds or can’t make it?

Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. After that, we’re happy to help you transfer your ticket to someone else, or you can apply it as a credit toward a future ARTRRA Mantra workshop.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! During the workshop, you’ll enjoy light, picnic-style bites from Zay’s Signature Creations—thoughtfully prepared to nourish your creative flow. And if you’re feeling social or hungry after? Stick around! The venue hosts a food court with coffee, lunch, and adult beverages.

Can I bring my own food or drinks? Is this a BYOB event?

This is not a BYOB event, and we kindly ask that you do not bring outside food or beverages into the workshop space. But don’t worry—Zay’s Signature Creations will be serving up some delectable, picnic-style bites during the event to keep you nourished!

Is this event beginner-friendly?

100%. No experience is necessary—this is not about being “artistic,” it’s about being open. We’ll guide you step-by-step through everything, and you’ll be surprised by what flows from your brush when you let go.

Is there parking
