The Newark School of the Arts recognized that children from underrepresented areas were lacking resources to participate in our audition-based programs. To level the playing field, the school established the Nurturing Program. We provide free lessons and instruction to BIPOC children who exhibit natural talent from Newark and the surrounding areas.
