NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT)

NRA Instructor Classes

NRA Certified Instructor Classes include Basic Instructor Training, Refuse to be a Victim, Home Firearms Safety,Pistol , Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection Inside the Home, Personal Protection Outside the Home, CCW.

This 6-Hour course is required within the previous 24 months of taking an NRA Certified Instructor Course. The goal of this program is to develop instructors to teach NRA Basic Firearm Training courses according to the lesson plans and training standards of the National Rifle Association. The NRA Basic Instructor Training Course is designed to teach you how to teach others using NRA lesson plans and training methods.N﻿RA Basic Instructor Training is the 1st class you will take before adding an NRA Certified Instructor Credential. Required Materials: Bring an empty three-ring binder This 6-Hour class is completed in the classroom. You pay to have the opportunity to pass and become an NRA Instructor.Classes, training and / or certification are for individuals who are not disqualified from possessing a firearm as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law.  Individuals who have been convicted of a crime of violence are disqualified.  In compliance with U.S. Federal ITAR Regulations, Student must be a U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident with a Green Card.
