nowhere/now-here [a workshop performance] is a devised piece . The play centers itself around the experience of the immigrant artist , gathering both confessional autobiographical material, and quotations from all sorts of produced material (poetry, plays, songs). The play is mostly, but not only, about identity. 
The framework of the piece plays around– the idea of time, dividing it in past, present, and future. The piece in fact was born out of the urgency of a limited time in which the actresses and creators of the piece would be present in US territory, struggling to stay, or wanting to go. 
The piece uses movement, imaginary, audience interaction and multilingualism as narrative devices to recreate the sensations of the world of the artists. 
 
Tickets are $10 at the door. 
If you are not a citizen, you enter for free.
Students have access to donation based tickets with valid student ID.
