Susan Davis on Sean Kanan's 'The Way of the Cobra'

The pandemic has changed us in so many ways. It has changed the way we do our work, the way our children learn, the way we communicate and the way we connect with others, to highlight just a few examples. There are so many human emotions and impacts to this global shift that have us coming out the other side stronger or worse, behind the 8 ball, or anywhere in-between, in all aspects of our lives.

I have heard people refer to this as being stuck, languishing, or mundane and it has the power to get to the best of us. If you were unaffected, I congratulate you for being super human. If you have experienced this, you may need a good kick in the butt, like I did,  to reignite the spark and get back to thriving in the present.

Susan Davis, MBA, CBAP, SAFe SPC, is an IT Director at Charter Communications. She directs an organization of approximately 50 Business Systems Analysts who are responsible for ensuring that quality applications meet or exceed the needs of our customers.

Susan was a founding member of the St. Louis Chapter of the IIBA and long-standing board member (from 2007-20013). She spent four years on the board of The WICT Network: Midwest (Women in Cable Telecommunications) and is currently considering the next organization to partner with to make an impact.
