About this event

What does it mean to be organic? Mac will share more about his organic evolution and why it makes a difference in the food we grow and eat.

Here at Elmwood Stock Farm we work hard to bring wholesome and delicious organic produce, meats and more from our fields to your plate. But we believe that growing healthy food can have an even bigger impact that goes far beyond the dinner table. You’re invited to discover what it means to not only nourish ourselves but a healthier planet while learning about our organic and regenerative farming practices during our Nourishment farm tours!

Each two-hour tour will touch on many of the techniques employed at Elmwood Stock Farm, including greenhouse production systems, pastured poultry and pigs, grass-fed cattle and sheep, vegetable growing, soil building, ecologically sustainable agriculture, and beneficial insects, to name a few. You’ll get a taste of daily life here at the farm while learning about the ways we feed our community and the ecosystems that surround us.
