About Nourish:

Movement can be a place of empowerment and potential, and of reconciliation. In this Nourish workshop, we will tap into our intuition, trusting that we already have the wisdom to generate satisfying movement stories.

Using affirmations, imagination, writing, and attention as our tools, we’ll improvise, vocalize, and play with props.Let’s move from our inner experiences, with care.Using techniques of affirmations, imagination, writing, and attention, we’ll improvise, vocalize, and play with props. This workshop is for curious newcomers, and for dancemakers who are looking for generative creativity tools. Learn clear movement scores to feel good in the moment, and to use as containers for choreographing dances. Let’s sense, feel, and move better by dancing with attentive love and compassion for ourselves!

No prior dance experience is required, just willingness to move on your own terms! Open to caregivers and children, dance professionals, and movers of all abilities. This offering is available at a pay-what-you-can rate and registration is required. This workshop is part of the Reflection, Healing & Movement series.
