Notes Towards a Self Image

Pavilion is a visual arts organisation that collaborates with artists, curators and audiences to programme and produce new work.

PAVILION (Leeds)

Aimed at young people (from 12 upwards) as well as adults, this screening brings together films and videos that offer different perspectives on the idea of the ‘self image.’ Focusing on films made over the last 40 years, by artists working in the UK, the programme will include work by Harold Offeh, Melanie Chait, John Smith, Tina Keane, Seamus Harahan, Kevin Atherton, Catherine Elwes, Guy Sherwin and more. Alongside Pavilion, individual works were chosen by Ed Webb-Ingall, Michelle Williams Gamaker and Elspeth Mitchell. Image: Guy Sherwin Hand/Shutter, (1976).
