Notebook Making Workshop

Join us for a hands-on workshop to make a special Granville Center for the Arts Doo Doodle Notebook using sustainable, tree-free paper made from elephant dung and sugarcane bagasse (fully sanitized, of course!). You'll learn how to bind your notebook, trim the pages, round the corners for a professional finish, and personalize the cover with your own artwork or one of our elephant paper cutouts.

Along the way, we'll take you behind the scenes of how a simple idea became a real product. We'll explore product development, branding, packaging, storytelling, and how creativity can be used to make a positive impact in the world.

Each participant will make two notebooks to take home. If you catch the notebook-making bug and create a few extras, we'll gift these to our donors as a special thank-you gift.

Recommended for adults and children ages 12 and up.

****Due to limited space, we require a refundable $2 deposit to secure your spot. This deposit will be refunded when you attend the workshop, or you can donate it to the center****
