Not Yet Free: A Crash Course in Modern Slavery

Join us for "Not Yet Free: A Crash Course in Modern Slavery", a powerful Abolition 101 training hosted by Virginia Justice Alliance, Abolish Slavery VA, and the Abolish Slavery National Network.

This transformative event will expose the ongoing reality of legalized slavery through the 13th Amendment loophole — and how it continues today through mass incarceration.

Through history, testimony, and action, you'll learn how we got here and what we must do to abolish slavery once and for all.

This event is free — because freedom shouldn’t come at a cost.
We’re organizing to abolish slavery in all its forms, including the legalized slavery that still exists in Virginia’s prisons. This is people-powered work. While there’s no fee to attend, we suggest a $25 donation to help fuel the movement.

Your contribution supports organizing, education, and advocacy led by directly impacted people.
Show up. Speak out. Stand with us.
Whether you donate or not, your presence is powerful.
