About this event

  • 4 hours

Join us for the Norwalk Open Streets: Walk, Bike & Roll Festival on Saturday, May 4th from 9AM- 1PM at Calf Pasture Beach, being organized by the Bike/Walk Commission! The Open Streets event will include a variety of fitness and fun activities for folks to enjoy in a car-free environment! Bring your neighbors, friends, and family members for a variety of outdoor activities and community engagement, such as a bike rodeo, kids games, and local organizations. Norwalk’s Open Streets festival is a great opportunity to explore the City in a new way! Follow the path straight to the brand-new pedestrian plaza on the east side of the parking lot.

Get ready to roll, stroll, and soak up the sun with us. We'll be transforming one side of Calf Pasture Beach Road into a vibrant temporary ‘greenway' exclusively for pedestrians, cyclists, joggers, and rollers! You can say goodbye to car traffic as we reclaim the road for several blissful hours of outdoor exploration.

The other side of Calf Pasture Beach Road will remain open as a two-lane street, to ensure smooth traffic flow. We aim to provide a safe, convenient, and comfortable route for everyone to access the beach while promoting active lifestyles and community building.

Open Streets is hosted in partnership with:
