About this event

This is a Stop the Bleed Hands-On Skills Session event for NISD students and the community on National Stop the Bleed Day at the Northside Gym.

Completion of the STOP THE BLEED Interactive Course is required. Each attendee must present a passing score at the door on the day of the event.

Stop the Bleed Hands-On Skill Sessions will begin at 3:30 pm. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes. The last session will begin at 7:00 pm.

Stop the Bleed Skills Sessions will be approximately 30 minutes long.

Do I have to complete any training before attending?

Yes. Each attendee is required to complete the STOP THE BLEED Interactive Course and present a passing score at the door. Please refer to the email sent to you by Northside Independent School District for the STOP THE BLEED Interactive Course link.

Who can attend the Stop The Bleed Hands-On Skills Session?

This is a NISD student and community event. Any NISD student in grades 6-12 can attend this event after successful completion of the STOP THE BLEED Interactive Course. Any member of the community can attend this event after successful completion of the STOP THE BLEED Interactive Course.

Will I become Stop The Bleed Certified if I attend this event?

Yes. A Stop the Bleed Certificate will be issued if both the Stop The Bleed Interactive Course and the Stop The Bleed Hands-On Course are successfully completed. Both courses are required for certification.
