About this event

Join the UNR Extension for this class where you’ll learn how to design a landscape that works for our unique climate in northern Nevada. We’ll cover how to use water wisely, reduce pollutants, build healthy soils, create wildlife habitat and prepare for wildfire. You’ll do a hands-on design activity to create your own very own NevadaScape for a site of your choice. It's perfect for new homeowners, but the concepts also work great for those who are looking to retrofit an older landscape.

Due to limited space, enrollment is limited to 30 participants per class.

Lunch will be provided.

If you have any questions about the course, dietary restrictions, or other considerations, please contact Carrie Jensen, carriejensen@unr.edu at least 14 days prior to the course date.
