We invite you to join us for a photography meetup at the Northern Lights Photo Studio + Events, a luxury event venue located down the hall from our famous photo studio suite in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. This photography and creative networking event includes opportunities to use state-of-the-art Profoto lights, backdrops, soft boxes, a vanity room, and free-standing LED lights ready for shooting! There are both indoor studio and outdoor patio shooting locations for abundant shooting space.

One admission ticket ($10) includes 1 complimentary drink at the venue bar.

$13 at the door. Tickets are non-refundable.

Try on clothes and model in them! We will be featuring style rack of pieces by Earth Baby Archive. We will have a donation bin for shoes, clothes, and textiles.

Learn how to shoot! Complimentary photo/model demo with photographer Christian Gill to show you how to make the best out of studio lighting techniques.

PLUS you may just win a free 3-hour studio rental by submitting your photos in the photo contest. Post your favorite shots and use #northernlightsphotomeetup for your chance to win!

Can I bring my own camera and lighting equipment?

You definitely are encouraged to bring your camera, and personal lighting equipment is welcome.

I'm new to photography/modeling. Can I still come?

Absolutely! All levels of experience are welcome.

Can I purchase drinks at the bar?

All guests will receive one complimentary drink at the bar. Cash bar is accepted.

As a model, can I bring multiple outfits?

Yes! The more the better. We have a rack of clothing by design Monica Marrero to try on and shoot in as well.

Will there be a photo contest on social media after the event like last time?

Yes, post your images taken at the meetup using #northernlightsphotomeetup to enter for a chance to win a FREE 3hr photo studio rental. Both model(s) and photographer of winning images will receive this reward.
