About this event

Come join the Northeastern Oklahoma Chapter of Heroes on the Water for a fun day of kayaking and fishing. As always, all HOW-NEO events are free to attend for Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, their families, and First Responders.

Our event will run from 8:00 to noon. Volunteers will need to arrive at 7:30 am for event setup.

Veterans, Active Duty and First Responders If you are not registered with the Northeastern Oklahoma Chapter you need to send an email to the Chapter so you can be added to the Chapters email List.

Rules and Information:

1. No Alcohol or Drugs are allowed at HOW events.

2. Please keep an eye on the weather and wear the proper attire to keep you cool, warm, or dry.

3. Bring a change of clothes in case you get wet

4. Pack your sunscreen and bug spray.

HOW provides all equipment and tailors each experience to the individual. Our volunteer-led events come at no charge to participants and their families. Whether you wish to spend time alone or want to connect with other participants, it’s all good. We understand that every healing journey is unique, and our goal is to make every experience as comfortable as possible.
