We’ll take a walk on the 88-acre North Peak Ranch, just east of Clayton, which we’ve optioned from Steve and Brenda Benkly. At one time the property could have been divided into 5 acre parcels but Steve and Brenda wished to see it preserved.
The beautiful, heavily wooded property rises from Marsh Creek Road just east of Clayton onto the slopes of North Peak, Mount Diablo’s second most prominent peak. It shares a boundary with Mount Diablo State Park. It’s a short walk. Please bring plenty of water, snacks, and dress in layers and sturdy hiking shoes/boots.
