NorCal MedTech is a forum for those in the medical device, biomedical engineering, and device manufacturing fields to meet, network, and learn about new developments, regulatory changes, and the future of biomedical innovation.

This inagural kickoff event will include food, drinks, and a 1-hour panel discussion surrounding: best practices to bring a device to market, market trends, and new developments industry experts forsee affecting the biomedical industry within the next few years.

When: Thursday, May 21, 2015

Networking begins at 5:30pm with freshly prepared dishes served-up by one of the Bay Area's best food trucks complimented with drinks.

At 6:30pm Dr. Greg Theyel will moderate a 1-hour panel with professionals from WESTPAK, Pacific BioLabs, and NUTEK Corporation, focused on "What is the Future of Medtech?"

How can I submit a topic or question for the panelists?

Will I hear a sales pitch from the sponsors while I'm there?

No; the purposes of the event do not include selling. The sponsors will be focused on collaborating, educating, sharing, and having some out-of-the-office fun :-)

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

This event is open to professionals from the MedTech industry and its service providers. You might want to bring your ID (for the bartender) if you look really young though!

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Sure, to one of your colleagues in the MedTech industry.

Do I need to be pre-registered to attend the event?

We’d prefer it, however if you just show-up - and there's space available - we’ll ask you to fill out a registration card and pick up a name tag upon your arrival.

Can I bring my spouse / significant other?

Sure, adults only please.

How can I update my registration information?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No worries; we'll have your registration information there if you're pre-registered.

Do I have to wear a name badge while I’m there?

We’d prefer that you do, however feel free to go incognito - with your new start-up!

The name on the ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
