You've been awarded the grant, now what? In this workshop, we will cover the tools needed to track the revenues and expenditures related to each individual award. Whether your receive advance payments, drawdowns, or request reimbursements from grant funds, we will cover it all.

This Online Workshop is designed for users already familiar with basic QuickBooks functions. If you are a beginner, consider taking our Essentials workshop to familiarize yourself with the functions before this advanced topic.

Class topics include:

  • Translating business terms to NonProfit equivalents
  • Setting up Grant Parameters
  • Managing the Designated Funds
  • Identifying Restrictions
  • Isolating Expenditures
  • Creating Reusable Reports

The workshop fee includes the class session and materials.

This session will use QuickBooks Online Plus Edition, but this class is designed for Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, or Advanced Versions.

Although other users may find it helpful, the course material does not include references for QuickBooks Desktop Editions or QuickBooks Pro for Mac Software. This workshop topic is also available for QuickBooks Desktop Users.

What should I bring to the event?

You may wish to print or save the materials provided electronically or use a notepad to capture notes, ideas, and questions you may have. Viewing on a separate screen or device can be helpful if you plan to practice the techniques during the presentation, but it is not required.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Canceled registrations are refunded up to 7 days prior to your session.
