Developing a Grant Strategy for Success

Description:

With foundation giving on a downward trend and the grant landscape growing more competitive, it's more important than ever for your organization to have a strategic approach to grant seeking. In this virtual training session, we'll go over best practices for developing a grant strategy that honors your needs and capacity by focusing on topics such as: mission alignment, program assessment, and goal setting, budget analysis, cash flow management, when to say "no", and building a grants calendar. After this session, you will be empowered to think more holistically and intentionally about your annual grant strategy and move forward with actionable steps to optimize your grant seeking. Together, we'll unlock the power of having a grant strategy and its effect on your organization's efficiency, sustainability, and impact.

Who should join:

This session will be most impactful for nonprofit Executive Directors, Development Directors, Program Managers, and Volunteers/Interns. From novice and experienced grant writers alike, this session will set the foundation for a successful grant-seeking strategy.
