Nonbinary Prom

For the grand finale of THEYFRIEND 2026, we’re throwing the prom we always deserved!

For many people, prom was a rite of passage we weren’t yet able or allowed to fully show up as ourselves. Nonbinary Prom is our chance to reclaim it: to dress how we want, dance with who we want, and celebrate the people we’ve become.

Hosted by OBSIDIENNE OBSURD, the night features music all night from DJ Arc, with performances by musician Sarya, circus artist Chanty, and drag sensation JanpiStar.

We’re also thrilled to welcome our headliner, Figgy Baby, an internationally touring nonbinary Mexican rapper known for their gender-defying style, thoughtful lyricism, and high-energy performances.

And what would prom be without a crown? We’re saying goodbye to Prom Kings and Queens and searching for our Prom Quings! Strut your stuff in our prom walk-off for the chance to be crowned THEYFRIEND royalty.

Whether you’re reliving prom, reclaiming it, or experiencing it for the very first time, come dressed as the version of yourself you want to celebrate. Bring a date, bring your friends, come solo, dress all the way up or invent your own version of formalwear.
