NO MORE MONEY FOR WAR: QUEERS FOR SOCIALIST CHANGE!

Working-class and young people are rightly horrified by the Israeli state’s brutal war on Gaza, and by the police crackdowns of peaceful student encampments across the US.

The only way we can fight against the massacre in Gaza is the same way we fight for queer healthcare, higher pay, and all the things we need to thrive: building broad, working class organizations of struggle against not just US imperialism but the racist, sexist, homophobic capitalist system as a whole.

Pride is a protest! Continue this tradition, fight to build the strongest movement possible to end the despicable US funding of the war on Gaza. Fight for the needs of queer people in the US and across the world. Fight to create a world where money is spent on the needs of working class people, with fully funded Medicare and guaranteed gender-affirming healthcare, free abortion on demand, and affordable housing for all.

OUR DEMANDS:

• STOP FUNDING WAR! Build mass protests to disrupt the DNC in Chicago this August and demand an end to US aid to Israel! Fully fund trans healthcare, free abortion on demand, and affordable housing for all.
• LABOR UNIONS: SUPPORT THE STUDENTS! Labor unions should continue the fight of the student encampments and use workers’ power to shut down workplaces to stop the war on Gaza! Demand an end to US aid to Israel! Fight for international working class solidarity, for a permanent end to conflict with a socialist federation in the Middle East!
• BUILD A FIGHTING PRIDE! Mobilize the huge number of queer workers and youth who are sickened by the massacre in Gaza to strengthen the student protests into the summer and fall!
• WE NEED A NEW PARTY! We need to build a genuinely anti-war working-class party that will stand up to the warmongering Democratic and Republican parties. We can build for this beginning by marching on the DNC this August.
• WE NEED SOCIALISM! Capitalism creates war, oppression, and misery: we need a socialist world!
