OSHA Accident Investigation and OSHA Recordkeeping Rules
HANDS ON PRACTICAL APPLICATION COURSE (Filling out Accident Investigation Forms, OSHA 300 and 301 Log)
Knowledge of the fundamentals of OSHA Accident Investigation and OSHA Recordkeeping Rules is a valuable skill for anyone who wants to be a safety professional or advance their career by being involved in a safety program. This class has been taught to more than 1,500 people and will include real world anecdotes from previous students who used the information provided to land jobs or advance their careers.
OSHA Accident Investigation includes the steps for an accident investigation with scenario based practical application of an accident investigation form with Root Cause Analysis, interpreting nonverbal communication during witness interviews and tips for witness interviews, witness statements, documenting the accident scene and the OSHA 301 Incident Form.
OSHA Recordkeeping Rules includes a review of the OSHA Recordkeeping Rules in 29 CFR 1904 with scenario based practical application of filling out the OSHA 300 logs and OSHA 300A Annual Summary. The class will include practical tips on answering interview questions and using knowledge of the rules to prevent mistakes in injury and illness reporting which impacts insurance premiums.
The OSHA Accident Investigation and Recordkeeping Rules certificate requires submission of the in-class practical application of the Accident Investigation Form, OSHA 300 log, OSHA 300A Summary and OSHA 301 form.
