NNSTF - Science is Everywhere - Reno Food Systems Farm Tour -10am

Join us in a tour of Reno Food Systems Farm as part of the Northern Nevada Science and Technology Festival's Science is Everywhere! The Park Farm program's intention is to grow the next generation of conscientious farmers, innovative educators, and sensible leaders. Through intensive training and mentorship programs, farmer interns will experience the inter-connectedness of food systems and develop contemporary methods to deploy effective change in their communities. Participants will see our animals, and planting of the fields in actions (participants may even get to help with the planting process)!

Other important tour information:

• There is a small green pedestrian gate where you can enter into the farm. Please park along the south side of Mayberry Dr.
• A wheelchair would have a difficult time making the whole tour if the ground is wet. There is a hay wagon pulled by a tractor that individuals could go for a ride in. Please email info@envirolution.org to arrange this ahead of time.
• Participants should wear closed toed shoes.
