The National Job Corps Association is pleased to invite all NJCA members to register for the 2024 NJCA Spring Conference presented by Penn Foster on Wednesday, May 8 through Thursday, May 9. Our event will take place at The Westin Alexandria Old Town 400 Courthouse Square, Alexandria, Virginia, 22314.

One and one-half days of sessions are planned beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST. Registration will open at 8:00 a.m.. Continental breakfasts, breaks, and lunch will be provided.

DAY ONE 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

DAY TWO 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

CONTENT: A detailed agenda will be released closer to the event date. Sessions include:

  • Key discussions with Department of Labor Officials and leadership from the Office of Job Corps; a portion of their session will focus on health and wellness, with Humanitas attending to provide clarification and training on key topics
  • Discussion on key issues affecting the National Job Corps Association and the Job Corps Community; and
  • Mini-sessions by experts in various areas

The 2024 NJCA Spring Leadership Conference is a members only event.

  • NJCA member rate- $595.00

Getting to the Conference

The Westin Old Town is conveniently located approximately 4.4 miles south of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). The Westin Alexandria Old Town (703-253-8600) provides a complimentary shuttle from the King Street Metro Station.

Other area airports include Washington Dulles (IAD) and Thurgood Marshall Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI).

The National Job Corps Association, Inc. (NJCA) is a 501 (c) (6) professional trade association comprised of business, labor, volunteer, advocacy, academic and community organizations. NJCA was founded in 1998 by 38 charter member organizations consisting largely of the for-profit and non-profit contractors that operated the then 118 Job Corps centers around the nation.  Since 1998, the membership of the NJCA has more than doubled and grown to include employer and community partners.  By uniting these stakeholders, the NJCA has strengthened the Job Corps through government relations, grassroots education and outreach, informing national policy, and outreach campaigns that increase the visibility of Job Corps.
