Is this event suitable for all ages?

Yes, however, we will be hiking on grass and stones so strollers will be difficult to navigate on the trail.

How long is the hike?

The hike starts at the pavilion, and we will hike toward the aqueducts through the south trail of the forest preserves. Total distance is approximately 2.0 miles- round trip.

Will the bathrooms be open?

Yes, and they are well lit and there is a changing station in the women's restroom.

Dress for the weather and wear something you wouldn't mind sitting on the ground or a mat comfortably. Sturdy shoes are recommended.
