About the Challenge
NIH's Targeting RNA in Disease with Novel Technologies (TRDNT) Challenge is an open innovation funding mechanism with up to $13.1 million in total prizes across three phases to spur the development, validation, and dissemination of novel RNA-targeting technologies for new therapeutic classes that can lead to the development of RNA-targeting therapies to treat disease. The Challenge is open to U.S-based academic researchers, early-stage innovators, research organizations, and biotech startups advancing precision RNA-targeting technologies.
Eligibility
The TRDNT Challenge is intended for the development of novel technologies that target endogenous RNA to treat disease. RNA-based therapeutic programs are only eligible if they specifically target endogenous RNA in a way that aligns with the challenge goals
Applicants need to carefully review the official rules before preparing a submission.
