Welcome to Night at the Museum at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City!

The latest study by Mental Health America ranks Kansas & Missouri LAST among all 50 states in addressing mental health needs. A significant factor contributing to these rankings is the Youth with Substance Use Disorder, Adults with Serious Thoughts of Suicide, and the pervasive violence in our city. Freedom Project is committed to finding modern solutions to these challenges.

Our primary mission is to prevent health worker burnout and drive education reform, reaching over 800 school districts. This reflects our dedication to delivering comprehensive mental health education to schools in Kansas and Missouri, positively impacting 1.4 million students.
In tandem, we are committed to changing the narrative and elevating the mental health ranking of Kansas City on a national scale.
