Course Objectives

  • Assess typically developing infants using the General Movement Assessment (GMA)
  • Assess infants with brain lesions using the GMA.
  • Describe how to incorporate the GMA technique into their clinical and research practices.
  • Distinguish between typical and atypical general movements in developing infants using the GMA.


Who is welcome to register for the event?

This activity is appropriate for physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists and other healthcare professionals interested in early diagnosis of children with cerebral palsy.
