JOHN DARDENNE improvises with special guests, house teams, indie teams, and THREE KIDS this week!!!!

Special guests 8/28/26:

JAIME MOYER (Bob’s Burgers, Modern Family) Improv royalty who cut her teeth in Second City Detroit and has become one of the most sought after comedic actors, improv performers, and improv directors in Hollywood. This will be the THIRD TIME Jaime performs on Nice Show tying Kyle Mooney for most repeat guest appearances!! She is a joy to know and a powerhouse on stage. Jaime brings the improv heat!!

BABY (Ben Weber, Ellen Burns, Erin Cantelo, Jack Greenberg, Keiley Backstrom, Mary Winters, Michael Shacket, Nicole Winthrop) A hand-picked WGIS team chock-full of brilliant improvisors (you gotta be at the World’s Greatest Improv School). They perform the most complicated and rewarding longform structure around, The Harold. At Nice Show! they will be forced to deal with The Advaith, The Anna, and The Winona (all little kids I teach improv). Excited to play with them!

DOUGH DOUGH (Paul Heredia, Elena Martinez, Daniel Pavatich, and Ezra Parter) Super-group of uber-funny improv geniuses! They’ve been on house teams at UCB, Shared Experience, and so much more. I know them, they make me laugh, and I can’t wait to share with them the privilege of improvising with THREE CHILDREN with moderate SELF-CONTROL and above-average improv TECHNIQUE. The stage is set for greatness!!

CHONK (Patrick Shen, Emily Jacob, Jocelyn Johnson, Faith Nagel, Richard Feliciano, David Neale, David Danipour, Koschka Barr, Rhoda Baldwin, and John Dardenne) House team at The Pack that I've been playing with (in different incarnations) since spring 2022!! This new version is CHONK-ier than ever before and so worth your time. Don't miss their unique brand of funny make-em-ups because in this show they meet the final bosses of L.A comedy: little frickin kids.

LINZY AND THE BOYS (Linzy Beltran (UCB Betty), Sanjay Rao (Netflix's HIT MAN), David Danipour (UCB Harold), and John Dardenne (wrote TV jokes for Wanda Sykes, UCB Maude alum). This may be the best improv team no one's heard of because I just made up the name without consulting the rest of the group. HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS GROUP because they’re my dear friends! We all met on a house team at The Pack and boy am I glad that happened. Come to the show and YOU WILL SEE WHY!
