CHAD DAMIANI is one of the pioneers of LA’s contemporary clown scene – having performed over 600 shows with his groundbreaking improv/clown duo, Jetzo, and founded both the legendary “Stand Up and Clown” show and Clown Zoo – a weekly outdoor event that mixes clown and theatrical mask. Chad has traveled all over North America – teaching and performing his clown-inspired standup routines. He is known for his lovingly harsh live-directing of clowns and I can’t wait to see how he directs KIDS WHO’VE NEVER CLOWNED BEFORE. This is a must-see event!!

SHAG (Stephanie Burchinow, Meredith Dillon, Isabella Escalente, Alex Bigelow, May Darmon, Anna Bezahler, Cameron Kelly) A beloved indie improv team made up of seven women with thirteen outstanding parking tickets between them. You may have seen Shag on Fridays at WE, their UCB show, their WGIS show with Gunk, or the 2022 Edinburgh Improv Festival. I am a big fan of all their appearances and am sooo excited to introduce them to the four funniest and most unpredictable child improvisors I know!!

NORMAL WITH SHRIMP (Rachel Baldwin, Molly Johnson, Chloe Tuck, Quinn Marcus, Zach Durden, Cam Mahai, Joe Kady, Joe Leonard) Harold team at WGIS featuring some improv geniuses (you gotta be at the World’s Greatest Improv School)! I know some of them and they really make me laugh, and I can’t wait to meet the rest of the team and share with them the joy of improvising with not one, not two, not three, but FOUR CHILDREN with moderate SELF-CONTROL and above average improv TECHNIQUE. The stage is set for greatness!!

PUP PUP PUP PUP (Matthew Newman, Jeremy Sender, Charlie Fay) A super-group of UCB studs! Matthew Newman is a UCB Maude performer (who I was lucky enough to perform with back in the day!), Jeremy Sender performs on UCB Harold night, and Charlie Fay writes for UCB Maude and performs with a UCB Lloyd team! These guys have a rendezvous with destiny and that destiny is doing improv with four INSANE child improv prodigies!! What could go wrong??

LINZY AND THE BOYS (Linzy Beltran [UCB Maude], Sanjay Rao [Netflix's HIT MAN], David Danipour [UCB Harold], and John Dardenne [wrote TV jokes for Wanda Sykes, UCB Maude/UCB Mess Hall alum]. This may be the best improv team no one's heard of because I just made up the name without consulting the rest of the group. I LOVE THIS GROUP because they’re my dear friends! We all met on a house team at The Pack and boy am I glad that happened. Come to the show and YOU WILL SEE WHY!
