Facilitated by NHM's Resident Scholar Dr. Katherine Kelaidis, each month the NHM Online Book Club chooses a book that is either inspired by the Hellenic legacy or by a Greek American author (and sometimes both!). Then we gather to discuss the book on Zoom.

In December, we will be discussing The Maidens by Alex Michealides.

    More about The Maidens :

The Maidens is a psychological thriller that follows Mariana Andros, a grieving group therapist who becomes entangled in a murder investigation at Cambridge University. When her niece Zoe’s friend, a member of a secret society called The Maidens, is found dead, Mariana suspects Edward Fosca, a charismatic and enigmatic professor. Driven by her own traumas and a need to protect Zoe, Mariana delves into the dark, secretive world of the university, uncovering chilling truths about The Maidens and Fosca’s possible involvement. As the body count rises, Mariana must confront her past and unravel the mystery before it’s too late. "The Maidens" is a gripping tale of obsession, secrets, and the haunting power of the past.
