Women entrepreneurs are key economic actors in New York City — building businesses that support families, uplift communities, and generate jobs.W﻿E NYCis an initiative of theNYC Department of Small Business Servicesthat is dedicated to helping women start and grow their businesses.Free services are available for women entrepreneurs across the five boroughs and in multiple languages.

NewVenture 50+ is at no-cost multi session entrepreneurship bootcamp for women entrepreneurs aged 50 years or older.

NewVenture 50+ is a no-cost, immersive 10-session entrepreneurship bootcamp that focuses on topics, challenges, and resources relevant to women entrepreneurs aged 50 years or older. This is an application-based program; to join you need to be accepted. The deadline to apply is February 26th, 2020.With the guidance of experienced facilitators, business experts, and a network of supportive peers, participants in this specialized version of FastTrac® NewVenture™ for the Female Entrepreneur will:<ul><li>Learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship</li><li>Identify the components of a strong business plan</li><li>Leverage your extensive personal and professional experiences to launch a profitable business</li></ul>Days: Monday and ThursdaysDates: <ul><li>March: 19th, 23rd, 26th, 30th</li><li>April: 2nd, 6th, 20th, 23rd, 27th, 30th</li></ul>Time: 6pm-9pm *This is an application based program, to join you need to be accepted.*Accepted participants need to attend all sessions to receive a certificate of completion. Additional programming will be announced.
