New to Featherweights!!! Maintaining and using a Singer Featherweight

Does your Singer Featherweight need a spa day? Would you like to learn to care for her so she can last another 90 years?
This class is designed for Singer model 221, 222, and 301s only. If you're not sure about your model number please email before booking.
We'll learn about how to do a basic maintenance, where to find basic parts, how to clean and sew with her, and you'll leave with a better understanding of how to care for your machine and your machine's Singer history.
We will be doing a good polish together and setting the tension for your favorite fabric and your favorite brand of thread, so bring your prefered thread and a 4x4 test fabric swatch Unless you're using basic quilting cotton. We have plenty of that.

You'll need your Featherweight (or 301), your bobbin case, and the power cord.
This is for machines in working order only. If your machine needs repair please schedule a repair with our workshop Before this class. If we find an issue with the machine that needs a professional to repair we will carry it over and book it into our service shop. We do have loaner machines if this happens and you'll still have a chance to learn, so don't worry if yours needs a "hospital stay" 😉
