New Moon Ceremony with Maddie Juracka
The New Moon is a time to reflect on the previous cycle and set our intentions for the weeks ahead. A time to embrace new beginnings, re-establish a sense of groundedness and take a breath of fresh air. Each New Moon is connected to a different zodiac sign which serves as an insight to the energies and themes that are present for us to work with.
This New Moon is in the sign of Gemini. Gemini is an air sign, and just as air moves quickly, freely and without bounds, so does Gemini. Just as air clears stagnant energy and breathes fresh new life, so does Gemini and this New Moon.
This New Moon is an invitation of new inspirations, new ideas, curiosities and a flow of communication. In the sign that governs the perspectives through which we label reality, we are invited to reflect on what narratives we wish to breathe new life into, where we are ready to bring an openness into our minds, where we intentionally desire to create a new way of seeing, and therefore experiencing, our reality.
There is an essence of love, connection, romance and creativity, paired with imagination, dreams and spirituality. There is also an invitation to ground this energy, and to remember the responsibility that comes with being a bridge between two worlds – the spiritual and the physical – and the gift that this responsibility is.
During this New Moon Ceremony we will harness the magic and medicine that Gemini brings us to explore how we bridge the spiritual and the physical, and embody both of these realities within ourselves. We will work with somatic practices and journal inquiry to connect more deeply with ourselves and create space for deep listening. Our ceremony will conclude with a sound bath and guided meditation to integrate any insights and shifts that have occurred. Together, we will co-create a beautiful space for healing and relaxation, allowing you to feel renewed and inspired under the Gemini New Moon.
Please bring a journal, pen, water bottle and any sacred items you would like to have with you during the ceremony (completely optional) such as crystals, essential oils, special totems. Please also wear comfortable clothing.
