Costs:  $20.00 per person, includes lunch at the Back Forty Texas BBQ

Please purchase one REQUIRED - Scenic Drive - Driver ticket (so we can collect your vehicle information) per vehicle/order and one Scenic Drive - Passenger ticket for each person in the vehicle.

As we are a Porsche Club, this event is limited to Porsches only.

This tour is for New Members that joined the Club after January 1, 2022. Come on a tour with us, have some lunch, meet some of the Board of Directors, and find out more about Club activities.

Join us for a leisurely tour of the East Bay backroads starting at the Buttercup Restaurant in Walnut Creek, winding through Lafayette, Moraga, and the quaint hamlet of Canyon. We will continue up to Skyline Blvd and Grizzly Peak with breathtaking views of the East Bay before dropping down into Orinda for a quick break. We will then take on "The Three Bears" as we climb up past Briones Reservoir and drop down into the Alhambra valley before continuing on to the Carquinez Straits. Heading inland, we will pass through Franklyn Canyon and back to Pleasant Hill where we will end our tour with lunch at the Back Forty BBQ restaurant.

The included lunch will be at the Back Forty Texas BBQ restaurant in Pleasant Hill. You will be able to select from pork ribs, beef brisket, beef ribs, sliced turkey, BQQ chicken, or sausage links. A vegetarian option is also available.

Schedule:

  • 9:30 AM - Assemble at the Buttercup (660 Ygnacio Valley Rd, Walnut Creek) for Tour Directions and Safety Briefing
  • 10:00 AM - Depart

Route: Driving directions will be provided to participants approximately one week prior to the tour.

Drivers are responsible for the proper function and safety of their vehicles. Your vehicle should be well maintained with brakes and tire tread above the minimum wear levels. Know the location of all the safety equipment of your vehicle. Sweep vehicles are available for your safety, not to repair your vehicle.
